Everything's cool now.  Rough day at work though.  The last couple of week's have been pretty rough.  Having the website to relieve a little stress has helped.

Travis, "The Good Life" sounds great.  At first I was noticing some subtle differences and didn't know if I really liked the changes, but at the end of the song when I had the complete picture, I really liked it.

I've been writing a lot lately.  Some of them have been posted in the lyrics section, some have found a special place in my garbage can.  Right now I'm wrestling with some lyrics of some of the songs on Meat Thermometer.  There are a couple of songs that something just seems off with the lyrics and I'm trying to tweek them a little, but unsuccessfully so far.

I've been away a while as well.  But my reason isn't as good as Travis'.  My reason is I've just been busy at work.  And when I did have time to say something, I didn't have anything to say.  Sorry.  But it's the truth.  Plus, right now, a lot of my thoughts are towards the upcoming trip to Arizona.  Only 15 days away now.

I've got a couple of things that will be going into the lyrics page real soon.  One is my take on the concept piece Travis posted called, "Faking It."  The other is, well it's not really a labor of love.  More like a labor of pain from years past.  So it's taking a lot of tweaking for me to feel right with it.  But I'll try to get both of those up in the next day or so.

So, it seems like a once a week posting for me.  Things have been kind of hectic.  I guess it's always like that.  I just haven't had that much to write though.  Okay, so I got a couple of thoughts.  First off spring is right around the corner, I can't wait.  It's a very creative time of year, you know.  Second, Travis, I totally dig the new graphic on the front with the stickman and meat thermometer.  Rock.

I have a couple of things I will be posting today on the lyrics page.  I'll go days without any sort of inspiration or thoughts that come together into a whole piece, and then boom, I get several all at once.

Final thought.  9 days til vacation.  WOOO-HOOO

Only 7 days left until we leave for Arizona.  I'm getting excited.

I haven't written anything in the last couple of days.  But I did go back and listen to some of the stuff posted on the music page.  Travis, have you had a chance to do anything else with Free by Monday.  I listened to that one again and I really like it.  It's really growing on me.  The only comment I have is still the fact that the transition between the two styles needs smoothed out a little.  It seems kind of like a jump-cut right now.  But I think that's all it really needs is a little polish.  I think it's a great start.  I like using the two different writing styles in the same song.  That one has some potential buddy.

Wow.  It's been a long time since I posted anything.  It was about a week without posts before the trip and then we were gone in Arizona for a week.  But we're back now.  The trip was fun, the drive was long.  It actually felt kind of weird to be back home.  I think we were all kind of tired and burned out.  So things ended on a weird note.  But I think we all had a good time.  It was a welcome break.  And now it's back to work and it has been a hectic first day back.  I really don't have any lyrics or anything to post yet.  I think the trip did inspire me in some ways.  But I haven't written anything yet.  As soon as I do, I'll post it.

Okay.  It's basically a once a week thing now.  This week saw Jeffy busting his ass at work.  But the week is basically over now.  Hey good news.  Baseball season is like 3 days away.  yeah!!!!

Okay so I finally have some lyrics to post at least the start to some lyrics.  What I am going to be posting in the lyrics section soon is something I've been working on ever since we got back.  I like the concept, but I'm not coming up with a complete thought.  So any help would be great.
